Dr. Darrin Storms
Dr. Storms grew up in Siloam Springs and is pleased to come home to practice his specialty of orthodontics in Northwest Arkansas.
After graduating from Siloam Springs High School, Dr. Storms received his Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science from the University of Arkansas. He went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis where he graduated with honors. While at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Storms was active in the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity.
He then continued his education at Jacksonville University Dental School of Orthodontics, receiving a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (C.A.G.S.) in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Affiliations and Memberships
Dr. Storms is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), Arkansas State Dental Association (ASDA), and the Interdisciplinary Therapy (IDT) Study Group in NWA.
He is also honored to be in on the ground floor of launching the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the Smile For A Lifetime Foundation. This is a charitable, non-profit organization that provides orthodontic care to individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity due to financial hardship or other special situations that would hinder them seeking treatment.
Smile for A Lifetime Foundation has participating orthodontists throughout the United States, with each chapter hosting its own local Board of Directors who choose patients to be treated by application and letter of recommendation by either the patient's general dentist, a parent, a pastor or a school counselor. As an honors graduate at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Dr. Storms was inducted into the Richard Doggett Dean and Marquerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society. Dr. Storms was also awarded the National Council Fraternal Achievement Award from the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Storms, and his wife, Amy, are the proud parents of Will and Sarah. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends and are avid supporters of the Arkansas Razorbacks. Go Hogs!
